Cllr Deborah Taylor reports:

I was contacted by a local resident who had lost her partner at a young age. Her young son was struggling to cope with 
the loss of his father. The resident asked me for help if there was a possibility of getting a ‘Letterbox to Heaven’ in Anstey Cemetery so that her 
son could write letters and cards to his daddy. I worked with the Parish Council to see if this was possible. They, in turn, worked with  
local funeral directors, Anstey & District Funeral Directors who very kindly offered to pay for the letterbox. The letter box is now in situ in the cemetery on Groby Road Anstey.
